Marty i noticed on your slap strum that your pick is very forward over the hole that also makes it sound better. to far back behind the sound hole and the slap doesn't sound very good.

Hi Marty. I'm 58 and starting to learn playing a guitar and your lessons sure help but I struggle a bit with the D. If I see it right you pick up another chord for 4 counts before the D, but I can't quite see which one Greetings from the Netherlands
