Every time he came to my state back in the 1970s I caught as many live shows as possible. When I wanted something uplifting to listen to while working around the house a Springsteen record was the obvious choice. I often wondered why Bruce Springsteen was my favorite musician until the day I was allowed to forage through the belongings of my deceased natural mother. She had given me up for adoption after birth in the hope that I would find a better life than what she could have offered me. Nonetheless, I found out on my own, who and where she was 25 years later. I was living in Germany but was born in Lewiston, Maine USA. I made arrangements to visit her put she died just 6 weeks prior to my arrival. While going through her belongings I found ONLY ONE SINGLE LP (vynil record for the kids). It was "Born In The USA from none other than Bruce Springsteen. Thanks mom for your great taste in music. I am sure he would be greatly honored if he had the chance to hear this.
