How to play Wanderer like an absolute MENACE

Openworld techs:
1. 4tick flight: fly further
2. High ground: mobs actually cant hit u up there
3. Living slope (also a combat tech): mount those mfs
Combat techs:
1. ALWAYS keep the damn distance, he's a ranged unit: don't go near mobs to get hit and blame the character.
2. Blend in Charge Attacks between NAs, it stuns, deals high DMG, faster following NA combo (for some reason the game makes your characters NA chain faster after a dodge or CA) and trigger DPC artifact 4-p passive.
3. Blend in Dodges between NAs for faster NA chain, aerial mode only use it once u have the Free Dash passive, otherwise just spam it on ground for your NA tobe as fast as possible.
4. As always you need to get gud (or use a shield whichever), learn mob attacks so that you know when to use the Free dash when not.
5 (hidden for the chad men and women who reads). Remember the 4tick flight trick? for almost a second the hold-dash wont consume stamina after dashing, u can use them to your advantage and dash a further distance to navigate through the field or create big distance. This trick is most beneficial in combat when you have the Free Dash passive, you will get a small distance flight without consuming any aerial stamina.
6. Passive Dash immediately after Scara 3rd NA will add 2 free additional passive rate increase, which is the reason why I have so many dash passive in the fight shown in the video.

pshhh... check the video description, there's 2 hidden tips 👀 Edit: The reason why I said my stat 74/200 was mid (not the build, sry for wasn't specific) is bcuz Im a Scaramain and most Scaramains have atleast 80/220-90/240 after over a year of grinding. Hence its more bcuz where I came from (Scaramain category) that I said that. Edit: Flight trick I forgot about entirely: dont press any movement button (W) when ur flying into openworld steep slopes, just dash. And only press them once to change direction if needed. Do you mean like hold dash and don't press w or like click to dash towards the slope? I didn't realise holding it would keep you moving forward assuming that's what you mean. this is kind of how i've been playing him for the longest time lol, except for the "4tick flight" thing, which is good to know. also, some other miscellaneous tricks about him (that i know of and want to add on top of these ones) are: you can scale a side of an inclined slope or mountain by just "ramming" into it to slowly ascend up, which makes it so you can, at the very least, regain more stamina to keep climing, and if not also go up faster and further high up on said slope/mountain, which does deppend on if the slope/mountain is too steep or not (in which case it could very well just be better to spam the ascend button) this also translates to covering long distances, as you can go further by simply hovering towards your destination, and on top of that you can add in an input to either ascend or dash at the end of the skill's stamina to cover a bit more distance too. and, another thing is that if you get knocked out of the air, you can simply press to dash/ascend and you will cancel the falling animation and get up earlier to save time and not have to touch the ground to get back to the action.

Glad I could help ^^ Tho, if you have the chance try getting him to C1R1 (C1 or C0R1 atleast), I promise you you will be addicted with the 3NA/CA/dash rapid switch style like shown in the video. If its hard to understand, just imagine it like a style gauge, u cant maintain the style with only just one action like CA or NA only, switch between different actions = more style, more dmg, more fun 👍

IK almost all of these, and the free aerial height over enemies thing is *so* useful, ISTG (Have you done it with a Ruin Hunter? Just hover in its face without moving and when it goes up to do that annoying attack, IT TAKES WANDERER TO THE SAME HEIGHT AND WE CAN JUST SMACK ITS FACE TO BRING IT BACK DOWN, it's like a life hack) Though I admittedly don't use the terrain, just bigger enemies, but TYSM for this video, I was looking for a good NA, CA and Dodge combo 😄

Your tips are amazing 🤩 I didn't know medium mobs could work like slopes, now I understand why sometimes my Wanderer would be higher up in a fight... 😅 Also, that tip about the passive dash is a life saver! I could not figure out why it'd work only after I'd attacked some and not immediately after I used his skill I'll add a tip I saw recently: when the wanderer gets hit while in the air (without a shield) dashing will make him recover immediately :)

Him being the best exploration DPS is 100% true. Not only he is faster than yelan/sayu but you have more control, and you don't get stuck on terrain, and you have vertical control too. And he can do massive damage while in that state unlike the other 2. And anemo is the best element. Every time I'm exploring after 3.3, he is in my team. I love him so much

Anyway, can you upload some exploration tips on wanderer? SOme of thing that i can give for a content idea are: 1. Not holding W/Joystick for a smooth slope dash 2. Tapping jump 4 time for a higher height increase 3. (the first technique in this video) 4. Flying through mountains or places that normal character cant reach (even venti cant) 5. Hovering through high slope to climb without climbing 6. you name it!

Well you always learn something. i always fight at medium or close range maybe cause i have decent buffer for him to clear content faster but I guess fighting at a distance make it soo much better.
