You read my mind with this video! We use the foam starmark ball and my dog has a tendency to snap at it. This really helps!

I use 10 ft para cord attached to a kong ball. Its multifunctional, you can swing it around while the dog chases it, you can play keep away with it and it functions as one of those ball launchers. Get a bright colored cord and you will never lose it at the park

what knot do you like to use for doing that? know the name of the knot by chance? i’m trying to think of the best way to tie my own rope on also and what rope to use/would be best specifically for a medium kong ball
@Mc.Scrumpy3 жыл бұрын
@@squintygreeneyes it's all makeshift. I just slide the rope through the hole and knot it up to the main line.

Does anyone have recommendations for dogs with small mouths? My 22 lb dog is most comfortable with a 2" ball

Haha! Thanks. I like them too, but I might be partial ;) They always have to get in on the action!

The Collared Scholar I’m actually really impressed with seeing your malinois’ ability to focus on you and ignore the birds, especially with how high of a prey drive it seems that it has! I would love to see a video or blog post about living with a high drive dog and birds/cats/other small animals if you ever were looking for any topics. Also thank you for all of the information you have provided in your blog and now your videos. I have used a lot of it with my 1 year old working line gsd, and it has helped me more than most other information out there. So a big thank you :)

@@badger99999 Ahhh! Thank you so much for your comment. Means the world to me! And I will absolutely add that to the list of topics for blogs/videos - awesome suggestion! These guys definitely aren't born to be livestock guardians ;) But they can absolutely learn to be awesome with the livestock with a little time and patience :)

My puppy will not be interested if i didn't move the ball slowly in front of him as a temptation.
