Thanks for the Plotting Template. There was another author who claimed to have one (in her description) but then it turned out she had moved everything into an "Author's Library" and you had to pay almost $200.00 just to get a copy of it. I doubt I'll be buying any of her books.

I'm sure you will be great at it! You can always try plotting one and see how you feel about the process. It's really fun thinking up mysteries:)

Very good. Question though. Does Piper use magic to compel the suspects to talk with her? If not there should be some conflict where she's told by at least one suspect to go away and mind her own business. I can't see any logical reason for them to all talk to her. Mind you I have not read the book!

No compulsion used. The best part of the cozy mystery when an amateur sleuth is involved is finding ways for them to use their wits to get information out of people. Small town cozies usually allow for this easier since most people are comfortable with each other.
