So, if you just drop your injector into the chemical tank when down streaming and have a separate tank for surfactanct, how do get surfactant into the down stream? I still mix into a 5 gallon bucket. I will be adding a 12V this year so I need to re-plumb everything. I have watched a lot of you tubers in this industry and I like how you present your videos. keep it up. Thanks from Minnesota.
@AllAboutPressureWashing3 жыл бұрын
+NorthStarES We do not use a surfactant when down streaming for house washes. 99.9% of the houses that we do are down streamed. In my opinion, the advantage of a surfactant while down streaming a house does not outweigh the added rents time it takes to remove the soap from the windows. Just my personal opinion, lots of guys do use that. there are dual port injectors that you could put one line in the SH and another in a soap.
@MuskyJaeger193 жыл бұрын
@@AllAboutPressureWashing It's funny that you don't even use a surfactant on a house wash when I have seen several heated Facebook arguments over what is the best soap to use. Apparently using some brands of soap (gain) makes you unprofessional.
@TheMhowi0073 жыл бұрын
I agree haven't really found any added value to surfactant in house washing maybe to hide the smell of SH but that's it. I find most customers like the smell of SH

@@AllAboutPressureWashing thank you-I have a general pump reel, so I didn’t know if that type would hold up to bleach or if it needed to be a specific type of reel. And thank you for all of the time you put into your videos. They are very informative and have helped me a great deal
@AllAboutPressureWashing2 жыл бұрын
I guess I should have been a little more specific with my answer. Not all hose reels are created equally and there are differences in quality based on price. Hose reels that are Made of steel and then painted or powder coated are not going to last as long as those that are made with aluminum or stainless steel.

Would you recommend against venting if the lids weren’t kept open? It rains a lot where I live
@AllAboutPressureWashing23 күн бұрын
Venting ?
@chriswoolvin728422 күн бұрын
@@AllAboutPressureWashing yeah, venting the tanks. I'm thinking that in a closed system that as water is coming in the internal pressure would build until it equalizes with city pressure not getting a full tank. and with SH as your pulling there would be no air getting in to displace the used SH and the pump would be trying to implode the tank. so as I plan my plumbing I am curious as to how to keep out critters and if anything grows in SH that's left stagnant. I saw you had your tanks open which is your vent but with the rain I get here I can not do that and need some vent /overflow. I'm thinking that I could run a hose and stuff it with SS dish scrubbing pads to keep out critters.

+Sergio Jop The pressure washer is gas powered, it is connected to a battery, but that is only to start it. The battery is charged by the machine as it runs so you never have to charge the battery But you are new so maybe you're talking about the 12 soft wash pump. That is connected to a battery, but it is only turned on when in use. And it is connected to the same battery as the pressure washer, so it is constantly being charged well which negates the need to charge it
