The finish on the plate before polishing is very good so any fine polish, T-cut or Farecla G3 would have produced the same or better results lets see it on heavily oxidised motorcycle parts.

Any idea how long the mirror finish on the aluminum sheet will remain after being exposed to sun and rain?

Perfect! Just got my camper back from the body shop and will be polishing the chrome finish. I’ll try your idea here. Wish me luck.

What's the heat rating on that sealant? Awesome videos man
@SkillsandTrade11 ай бұрын
Thank you! Comments like this motivate me to continue creating videos. I'm not exactly sure on the heat rating but it worked fine on 100 degree days on freshly sanded metal that was quite toasty.

With brushed aluminum, do i need yo sand it first? Like sith 3000 / 5000 grit? Or.
@SkillsandTrade5 жыл бұрын
Should be fine, but it will look nicer and if you sand first.

Mookz Here! I bought 4000 grit down to 300. Regretted it. Used California Purple Polish instead but think I should have sourced factory polished sheets. Bought 10 sheets of 8’ x 4’ to build from ‘scratch’ my “Airstream Basecamp “ and did so without rivets and hoped for perfect mirror finish. Caught folks eye on my 4,000 km test run (Australia) but it’s dull again. Gotta be a way. To date only mirror finish is ultra high speed which buckles sheet aluminium.

@@peternicholsonu6090 That's oxidation; the sealant should at least slow it down.

Hihi, the few of your video on Aluminium to mirror, all the link to the products you are selling are shown as out of stock, which meant you wont get the commission for recommending their products. Just FYI.
