Simply lovely! I liked seeing the closeup of how heat/fire pops the bubbles in resin. I have seen many videos that talk about the method, but this is the first time I’ve been able to view it.

I feel like i really want to do this! i think i owuld take it everywhere with me, and whenever i feel stressed id look into my soothing peaceful koi pond and be relaxed again :)

This looks so amazing! It's a very cool and creative idea! I love it! Haha I'd love to subtley show it off by carrying around in my purse and take the box out so if someone asks for an altoid I can say sure and then bam! Koi pond! Haha

Looks great! Tip: if you thin your paints down and do multiple layers you won't see the brushstrokes. You can also do glazes to help define details. Look up videos on painting board game miniatures as they practice these techniques.

Watching this again in 2024! 🥹❤️ i plan on using my Big Sky Mints (Cotton Candy) to make either an axolotl pond or koi. You did amazing at this! You were also the one who inspired me back when my late husband was still alive 🥺 I'm trying to push myself to craft again

Did you bake the polymer clay fish and flowers before putting them in the resin? It turned out really cute. I am surprised you fit so many fish and gravel and plants all in one little box.

Bunni Dew I think it came with a set at michaels! It was one of those cheap brush sets that had like 20 brushes for 5 bucks haha

+christina tasou I looked through the video for glimpses of the brands and kinds of paint she used, and she used Liquitex acrylic paint for the color, Envirotex Lite resin and hardener (1:1 ratio), and unknown brand of polymer clay for the lily pads, lilies, and koi. Hope this helps! (sorry if I spelled the brand names incorrectly)
