Wow!! This conversation blessed me. I recently resigned from a job with no plan B and for the past 7 months I have received rejection after rejection emails. I woke up this morning feeling the lowest I’ve felt throughout this entire process but this conversation encouraged me to keep going. I didn’t know what to expect and to be honest I started and stopped the video several times. The title reads positioning for promotion and I thought to myself I have no current position to promote but I’m so glad I pressed play because I saw a woman who is confident, sure, and has pushed through the process to get into position. I needed that reminder. Thanks for the gems!!!

I almost did the same, quit my job with no plan B. I’m still there praying a door will open either within the organization or outside of the organization. Stay faithful believing God sees you.

This was helpful. I received confirmation about professional experiences I’ve had in the workplace. I believe all of the positions I’ve had have been and continue to prepare me for the vision God gave me years ago including my current position in a nonprofit organization working with families. You provided us with nuggets of knowledge. Thanking God for you.

This message is truly divine. I am certain God is calling me out of my comfort zone and more doors will open as I prepare. Funny that years ago I met with a journalist to get information about the field of journalism/communication and he too seemed jaded with his response. Talked me out of it and to this day I regret it. But believing God is about to do something for me as I prepare to be uncomfortable. Thank you!

I loved this video. I just discovered you a few weeks ago. I am like the poster below in that my career trajectory is trash. I'm a hard worker and educated, however the job rejections are sky high, and my self-esteem is at its lowest point. I look at this video and see how smart, posed and polished you are and think to myself, I'll never be anywhere close to that. It makes me quite sad. Thank you for sharing your career timeline. I wish you all the best with your new ventures.

Nona - THANK YOU for what you are doing!! Your transparency is such a blessing. These lessons are so helpful because I joined my current company for the growth potential! So much of what you said resonated with me, especially the part about doing those things that makes us uncomfortable. I immediately identified the area for me that I shy away from the most, but will probably yield the greatest gain for me and my growth. I'm going to pray about that! In the meantime, I hope you keep doing this! I'm registered for your leadership conference in September. I'm so excited and know it will be a game changer for me!! Love you, Sis!!! You're a blessing to the Kingdom!!!

Thank you for this video Nona!!! It's so rare to get videos about how to crush it in corporate America. Most KZbin videos are about entrepreneurs. I'm in both worlds like you so this was right up my alley!! Thank you sis 🙏🏾😊
