I don't like using expansion up there either, but sometimes I do it just depends. most the time I just get a tight float no edge

In some cases like floors we do. But mostly avoid it when possible.

I've been thinking of setting up a practice area with play sand. Like a 15x15 full of sand and just play with it. Make piles and have her practice.

I'm licensed through the city of Colorado Springs. I would check with the local or state licensing boards in your area for more information on how to acquire a license to operate.
