I'm trying different things. I may move down to 2 videos a week, but I would spend more time editing.

yes, I'm currently doing the same... fewer videos with more attention to the details. So far I like it better :)

Incredible tip! I’ve been struggling to learn the Animal Crossing New Horizons theme on my ukulele, mostly because it features a beautiful collection of flowery, jazzy chords in rapid succession. But now that I can A.C.T., I’ve discovered the chords have much more in common than I thought. This helped a whole lot!

Great tips, Katie! Are those bird designs on your fretboard?
@OneMusicSchool6 жыл бұрын
Thanks for watching, and I'm so happy that this helped! Yes! Paul Reed Smith guitars have beautiful designs, and they're known for the birds on the fretboards. I actually did a vlog of a PRS event, so you can see even more beautiful guitars :). kzbin.info/www/bejne/iYfdeYulpMt-jdk

Great tips! Bm and I are still fighting, but we keep trying to work things out. I practice getting to Bm from whatever chord I’m on over and over and over. Someday I’ll be able to play a pretty Bm!

Good tips, Katie....Can you tell if I am "Act"ting?......:)....This would be good to practice for a couple of min, each day...Makes it a lot easier transitioning chords....YEAH!!!....:)

Hey Greg! It's great to see you in the comments today. I thought I'd try something to help with some basics; however, I think no matter what your level, you'd be able to work through even more complicated chords. I'm happy that this helped.

A = Anchor C = Common T = Transition L ogically I nteresting K nowledge E verytime K atie A lways T eaches I nformation E ntertainingly Right on! Thanks Katie, much smoother transitions. Makes so much sense. You have random riffs, is this a new series, "Tuesday Tips". If you're reading this in email format, it makes more sense seen in the comments section. 🙋☝🎶🏫

I love your acrostic poems. Thank you for taking the time to make them. I know a lot of effort goes into each one because they are genuine. I think tip Tuesday would be a great series to try. I'm just trying different things that I think it will be helpful.

I hold my uku G cord differently. My pointer and middle finger are flipped lol idk if that’s bad or it would make transitioning between some cords more difficult? This was one of the first few cords I learned and it was for the song Peace and Love from Steven Universe. So iv kept with the habit since
@OneMusicSchool6 жыл бұрын
If it's working for you, it works :). There's more than one way to certain chords, so keep doing what you're doing if it works.

I noticed you hold you uke low across you lap. As I am unable to Barr correctly, is this position better?
@OneMusicSchool6 жыл бұрын
I just hold it across my lap so that I can fit it in the camera frame and so that you can see what I'm doing. If I'm not playing live or teaching, I always hold it at an angle. I hope that helps 😊😊😊.
@OneMusicSchool6 жыл бұрын
I do find it easier to barre when it's held at an age, but try different positions to see what works for you.

Thank you so much! This is my favorite guitar, and it really is something that has been a lifesaver because it's so light. Good to know. I'll have to investigate myself and see if it breaks for me.
