The illusory power wielded by The Almighty called Maya is so damn strong and powerful that for a beginner like me, the method of Self Inquiry by introverting the mind and searching for the Self (although the most direct method), cannot be pusued continuously without breaks in practice and even a momentary lapse of concentration can provide just a little gap through which Maya enters your mind and before the mischief is realised, the damage is already done!!! LOL!!! So Other methods like Bhakti to one' s favourite deity and useful service to those needy who are around you and devoliping all kinds of virtues are all essential for success. It's like surrounding your enemy from all directions and cornering him and then defeating him!!!! Glory to Bhagavan Sri Ramana Maharshi!!!! Glory to Shri Henri Joliceur!!!🎉🎉🎉🎉And Glory to Sri David Godman and Kunju Swami and all those innumerable devotees of Bhagavan'!!!!??🎉🎉🎉🎉

Bhagavan id not reject Bhakti ...He istall oa murti (statue) of Parvati in his mother temple ...So Bhakti is a path to enlightenment ...Vichara Self Inquiry is in my opinion for those that Bhagavan call MORE RIPE ..

We all have been hypnotised billions of ages ago into believing this Universe of Names and Forms and plurality and phenomena to be Real and Atma Vichara is a kind of dehypnotisation into realising the SELF to be the one and and only REALITY!!! When a western devotee pointed out this to Bhagavan, he merely laughed!!!!

Sometimes jgnyana comes as a flash to one in a million, but such a flash of the SELF cannot remain steady ,/ permanent unless all his / her Vasanas/Sanskaras are completely fried in toto., Says Bhagavan. This is mentioned in Suta Samhita and corroborated by Bhagavan. Such a person should continue his Sadhana of Vichara, Nishkamya Karma, Bhakti, etc until he) she has destroyed all Sanskaras/ vasanas . Then when the time is ripe Jgnyana flashes and remains steady and permanent. That is the Finality,!!!

@@ash9x9 Science and everything created or perceived by thought is true as long as we're living as a separate entity with a mind-body complex in this physical world. All historical evolutions are true in this realm. But Shri Ramana Maharshi says that the 'I' that we take ourselves to be is not our true nature, it's false identification. Self/Being/Atma/True 'I' , is our ever shining true nature. When false 'I'(or say regular 'I', or ego) is destroyed, SELF only remains. It's generally called as self realisation. Until we attain our true nature, everything around us is our evolving reality.
