Reading is MUST irrespective of how good your English is, it is a mandatory practice to speak good English and if you wish to learn and speak high standard English you must read at least one book every month. Because whatever we read our mind subconsciously records the content and there will be stage that you will be surprised how you're able to speak a particular sentence actually it trickles down from your subconscious mind. Therefore, I suggest you not to skip reading.
