yes, I am! 😊 Strange I didn't receive a notification about your reply. I think you always have to type in the name, so that people get notified..however, I'm not 100% sure about it. Keep rockin', Julia!

Hey! I just started watching your tutorials and they’re amazing. I just wanted to say that it would be better if you play the entire song in motion after the tutorial so that we can know exactly what the song is going to sound like when we actually play it. Thank You

Can you do a tutorial for Summertime ? The older video that you made wasn't that helpful and I noticed you improvised too so I'd like to learn the original plus your improvised notes
@Violinspiration6 жыл бұрын
Probably won't do another summertime video soon but I do plan to create more video lessons about improvisation and learning how to improvise in the future :)

@@Violinspiration Don't be like that now Julia, you were honest with not doing another video on Summertime. I always tell my friends this so I'll tell this to you too, never be apologetic for being honest. Cheer up, that sad emoji doesn't suit you 😜. On the bright side I've almost finished learning Thais : Meditation, you should be proud as a teacher ✌️

I'm a beginner . How many hours should I practice?
@mahmoudel-qady38636 жыл бұрын
Could I ask you , how many hours have you practice per day when you were a beginner?
@Violinspiration6 жыл бұрын
It really varied...It was like between 5 min and 1 hour a day - but most sessions were below 30 min. And some special days more, when I was extremely motivated for instance before a performance of myself or after going to a performance of someone else :)
@mahmoudel-qady38636 жыл бұрын
Violinspiration - Violin Lessons Thanks for reply Julia but I’m wondering in that short time (30 minutes) could you practice both fingering techniques and bowing techniques?
@Violinspiration6 жыл бұрын
@@mahmoudel-qady3863 my practice at that time was definitely less than ideal - I wasn't as knowledgeable about how to practice and didn't practice the way I would go about practicing now. I did several things, mostly either scales, songs or technical exercises, but I didn't practice as structured as I do now. I don't really recommend to anyone to practice as randomly as I did when I just got started, if makes way more sense to have a structured plan :) so short answer: I didn't practice the way I advice to practice my students when I just got started (haha) :)

Out of sight, out of mind....hang your bow & violin up on the wall, cover them with a nice cloth - you will be much more likely to pick it up if it's in front of you than if it's hiding in your case.
