Thanks for the insightful video! However, the one thing that I don't understand yet about God is the degree of practicality concerning prayer, in that it seems the only reasonable reason for me to pray towards God is to receive repentance. These are my primary perceptions/presumptions that deter me from praying for any other reason: 1. God already has a plan for our lives 2. God doesn't directly speak to us/may not have provided, in the Bible, predicaments that mirror our present cirumstances. All in all, keep up this type of content. I believe we need more content to help us come closer to imitating Jesus...

i think if you view prayer like talking to God, which it is, i think it would expand that perspective a little. you pray to deepen your relationship with Him, just like any other relationship. through prayer you dont only repent, although that is an important aspect. you pray to cast your worries on the Lord and to ask Him for guidance. God will never force you to do anything, but the bible says he's jealous for you. he wants a relationship with you and how else can you get that besides talking with him?

I've been praying to help God heal me from addiction for about a year, but I haven't really observed anything happen within myself or around me. It makes me think that God wants me to seek out the solution for myself.

@@internetscavanger6746 I believe God works his “miracles” to ones who REALLY needs them. The ones who has no other option than an instant miracle. But to you and many of us, God sends his angels and Holy Spirit to protect and guide us. You want to heal from your addiction and you can. God gave you this power. You have the sources. Keep praying, take necessary earthly actions (doctors, medicine, meditation etc.) and believe you are already healed with God’s will.

Read the Bible, and it will show you that if you and your family are people of God who do his will and follow and seek his teachings, you will see each other in heaven encourage your family to become people of God ❤

God doesn't want you to be afraid of the flames of hell, and if you read the bible daily and pray daily, you will grow. if you have trouble reading the bible, think of it is ""I GET to read the BIBLE!!"" not ""fine i have to read the bible"" also as you grow, if you have trouble with faith in you going to heaven, say out loud: ""Jesus is Lord! He died for us and I want to have a relationship with him"" If you can truly beileive that, then you are growing
