We are told in the Bible to talk to God regularly for our thanksgiving, supplications, and requests. However, how do we actually talk to God? How do we pray effectively? What does the Bible say about prayer? We will explore all of these and more in this episode of our Whiteboard Series

Im in the hospital writing this comment. I woke up today hours early, I dont know what time. I nearly vomited about 5 times today. It was so severe that I had to take an ultrasound. Before I took it, I prayed to God that it would be nothing serious, asking him to touch me. Then, when I got the result, it said that there was nothing wrong - in fact, it was normal. It felt serious, but it was actually just a regular case. I also was supposed to have a test tomorrow, but I get to stay home so I can study more as well. Thank God! Update: a day in, and I'm feeling much more better than before, but still need more recovery

4:53 - An important distinction: shame and guilt are NOT the same thing. Guilt is what you feel when you've DONE something wrong; shame is a feeling that YOU are what's wrong, your identity and being. It's not possible to ask forgiveness for failing to be what someone else other than God says we are. Do not confuse your "who" with your "do"! Make sense?
