We raised our son to have faith in God and due to a traumatic brain injury (exactly where the spiritual/ decision making area is and two other areas ) and becoming a teenager he stopped believing about 8 years ago. It is breaking my heart... but your video has given me encouragement to keep on praying. I admit there are days when I'm depressed about it, and fighting to keep hope. I'm in an almost similar situation my dear. My son was God fearing , in pathfinder. Whenever he stood to pray in church especially during pathfinder programs, pipo were seeing a leader in him.. He is now 21,in university but he started using drugs. I always pray and cry to my God to give me back the son he gave me, but you know what, I know my God is fighting this battle for me. I will always give intercessory prayer for him coz I know my Jesus is also doing it for me. There's a song that encourages me alot. 'there trials in life,,,' especially the second stanza. ,' without trials in life, I may never know the Lord,and I may never know,the joy of answered payer.' if it took Mrs Finley 'senior 10 years to be converted, I don't care how long it will take for my son to be relieved from the use of drugs and cigarettes. But I know my God liveth .it might be today or tomorrow, but my God is watching and listening. Take heart my dear parent, it shall be well with us one day.

For the last 30 years I've been doing a serious prayer experiment. I offer half of my prayers to God, and the other half to an antique cigar store Indian that's been in my family for about 80 years. The results are in: The prayers to the wooden Indian were answered at the same rate as the prayers to God. So there you have it; it doesn't matter who or what you pray to.
