Prayed for many years for my husband. After being married 40 years he fell ill with brain cancer. He was extremely difficult. I know the Lord was after him. He fought Him. Eventually my husband had a short time when he was calm about 3 months.He got baptised and when he passed about 6 months later I knew he was saved.

That's good that your husband was saved. Amen but we know Baptism alone doesn't save a person. You have to repent and be Baptized. Receiving Jesus as your Lord and Savior. And repenting from your heart. And I'm not saying your husband didn't repent from his heart and God didn't save him. Because I believe you. I'm just saying what I said for those that may not know, how to be saved, that may see your testimony and may think, all they have to do is be Baptized.Because there's thousands that go to church and get Baptized, but aren't born again and there lives hasn't changed, because they think thats all they needed to do, and now there saved. And they think there saved all because they've been Baptized. Water alone doesn't save. Everybody has to come to Jesus so that he can wash our sins away by repenting from the heart and then get Baptized. And when we do this, we will be a new creature in Christ Jesus Amen

I was the first one in my family for generations to become a Christian because a neighbor prayed for me. I then began to pray for my family and within two years my sister came to the Lord. Then she and I began praying and soon one of our brothers gave his life to Jesus. Our Mom gave her life to the Lord in her last days and our Dad has become a Christian. We are still praying for our youngest brother.

@@katrinalodge6055I believe that God hears every prayer. And remember Romans 8.26 Even when we don’t know what to pray the Holy Spirit prays for us. Peggy’s prayer is also powerful and an encouragement: Jesus, because I have faith in you and as a believer you have given me authority to destroy all the power of the enemy. Nothing will harm me nor my household and family. My family have been claimed by God and the enemy will never have them (and name each one of your friends and family. I also pray for our neighbors.) In the name of Jesus, amen. Read Luke 10.19 & Deuteronomy 30.19 Choose life in order that you AND your descendants will live.

I just heard that my son is still on drugs and felt so down and angry . I started telling the enemy that my son will serve God and the blood of Jesus is covering him. I told the enemy he is a liar. My husband and I have been praying 16 years for our weed addicted prodigal son w/ mental health issues. Husband felt an urgency that we needed to see him. We recently flew down to Bogota Colombia to see him after a 5 year season of being apart. He’s been gone a long time. God was SO faithful. It was a wonderful visit and I am full of hope that his salvation is nigh. God told me that the theme of our trip was to love him, celebrate him and remind him of who he is. It was his 36th birthday. His little brother felt called to go too and it was a huge surprise to our older son. We gave him gifts and the book of John and he didn’t reject it, but thanked us for it.

Remember that, God is able to restore their souls through your faith. When God decided to destroy Sodom and Gomorrah, as man of God, Abraham interfering in that case and God decided to agree with him. Here the point is that, God cannot interfere in this earth without getting permission from man. In Genisis 1:26). Right out of High School I married the foreign exchange student who was Jordanian (Palestinian) muslim. I was very involved with my church all through my life. In all the time of my youth I didn't understand what unequally yoked actually meant. People tried to warn me, even his own cousin who knew he wasn't a good person. After a year and a half of a physically, mentally and emotionally abused he left me. It ended up being a blessing. I didn't want a divorce because I believed once you marry you stick together and work things out. Even though I gained 160 lbs and was unhappy I wouldn't let go. 17 to 19 I now refer to them as the stupid years. Thankfully I learned that getting out of an abusive marriage was ok because he was also having affairs with multiple women behind my back. That was 45 years ago and since that time the Lord has blessed me with a very Godly husband. Now we pray for our 4 adult children, our daughter in law, and my brother (whom I didn't know until recently has stopped believing.) I'm not sure what it is about young women, but so many meet foreign men and get sweeped off their feet. I know I wasn't looking for a Godly man, I was looking for handsome, exotic and shallow reasons. Occasionally it works out, but not always. Isn't it nice to have that old moment in time is so far gone that it no longer feels real?

​@TriciaPerry-ef7bi my sister in Christ. I have seen you comment on other posts and God led me to reply. Sister I we all fall short of the glory of God. When I first got saved I went down the conspiracy and pharisee rabbit hole. I was so consumed with all of the typical Christian conspiracies and illuminati it ended up leading me so far away from God. I even joined a supposed Christian community where in the pastor was promoting such heretical stuff like not eating certain meats (because they are halal) and whilst I do agree halal is from the devil. What are Christians to eat whom are in strict Muslim countries? What about those poor christians who have no choice. And as I continued with this pastor it just kept leading me away until I finally backslid because I couldn't keep any of the supposed laws and behaviours. Then I continued to backslide which led me back to smoking pot daily and completely losing my walk. The good news is I was always praying to God to help me because I was so sad that other addicts could just give up and here I was returning to my vomit as the bible states. In the end I gave it all to God and I've been clean off pot now a whole month no cravings etcs. You have never fallen to far from God. EVER. SPEND some time with him repent and ask his forgiveness. Read your bible every day as it's the living word of God and tell him everything remember do not trust in nor follow men. ONLY CHRIST

Me too!! I have been memorizing Psalms. So far I know four of them. I pray that God will lead me to the right thing to memorize, what he wants me to have in my heart, and I pray that the word will dwell richly in me. I have found one other friend who has learned this rich, rich practice. So congratulations to you as well! When I am lying in the dark, not knowing what to pray, I can pray Psalm 27, or Psalm 91, or 121…. I am thinking of learning Isaiah 53 next. Sorry, I’m going on and on about this, but it’s hard to find others who understand how much I love this!

Hi first time I heard this God woke me up told me to say that over my husband because we watched the story about Jesus in 2000 and he always said he done too much to be forgiven but after the movie he looked at me and said if he'll forgive her he'll forgive me so that night God woke me and said I want you to say this prayer over your husband, the wife is sanctified by the husband and the husband is sanctified wife and I want you to ask for all his sins to be forgiven in the name of Jesus so I did and a few hours later died at only 36 years old not been sick r nothing.

As Christians we are to spread the Gospel that Jesus Christ died for our sins, was buried and rose again the 3rd day by which we are saved, 1 Corinthians 15 1-4kjv.
