*IMPORTANT:* Laylat al Qadr isn't guaranteed on the 27th Night of Ramadan. It can be *on any of the last 10 nights of Ramadan:* Ibn 'Abbas reported: The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "Look for the Night of Qadr in the *last ten nights of Ramadan"* Aisha reported: When the *last ten nights of Ramadan* arrived, the Prophet (ﷺ) would tighten his belt, spend the night in worship, and awaken his family. *Rewards During Laylat al Qadr:* The night of Al-Qadr (Decree) is better than a thousand months (Surah 97, Verse 3 of Quran) *Rewards of Fasting:* “Whoever fasts a day in the way of Allah, Allah will move his face away from the Hellfire by a distance of seventy years.” (Sahih Bukhari 2840) Abu Huraira reported: The Prophet (ﷺ) said when the month of Ramadan arrived, “The month of Ramadan has come, a blessed month in which *Allah Almighty has obligated you to fast.* In it the gates of the heavens are opened, the gates of Hellfire are closed, the devils are chained, and in it is *a night that is better than a thousand months.* Thus, whoever is deprived of its good is truly deprived.” *Also Note:* Prayers must be said in Arabic. You can read any Surah after the opening Fatiha. The most common is Surah Ikhlas. Surah Ikhlas is said to have the reward of 1/3 of the Quran, according to authentic Hadiths. *What To Say After Prayers* Abu Huraira reported: The poor emigrants came to the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) and they said, “The wealthy have taken the highest degrees and blessed ranks.” The Prophet said, “How is that?” They said, “They pray as we pray, they fast as we fast, they give in charity and we do not have charity to give, they free slaves and we have none to free.” The Prophet said, “Shall I teach you something by which you will reach those ahead of you, surpass those after you, and by which no one will be better than you but one who does like you?” They said, “Of course, O Messenger of Allah.” The Prophet said, “[Say] SubhanAllah, Alhamdulillah, and Allahu Akbar 33 times each after every prayer.” Source: Ṣaḥīḥ al-Bukhārī 843, Ṣaḥīḥ Muslim 595 In another narration, The Prophet (ﷺ) said that if you *complete the hundred with:* "La ilaha illallahu, wahdahu la sharika lahu, lahul-mulku wa lahul-hamdu, wa Huwa 'ala kulli shai'in Qadir" (There is no true god except Allah. He is One and He has no partner with Him. His is the sovereignty and His is the praise, and He is Omnipotent) You will have all of your sins forgiven, even if they may be as large as the foam on the surface of the sea. Source: Ṣaḥīḥ Muslim 939 *5 Most Powerful Things To Say Outside of Prayer* *1. The Prophet ﷺ said:* "Whoever says, 'SubhanAllahi wa bihamdihi,' one hundred times a day, will be forgiven all his sins even if they were as much as the foam of the sea." (Allah is free from imperfection and I begin with praising Him) Source: Sahih al-Bukhari *2. The Prophet ﷺ said:* "He who recites in the morning and in the evening the statement: 'SubhanAllahi wa bihamdihi' one hundred times, will not be surpassed on the Day of Resurrection by anyone with better deeds than one who utters the same words or utters more of these words." (100 times in morning, 100 times in the evening) Source: Sahih Muslim *3. The Prophet ﷺ said:* "He who utters ten times: 'La ilaha illallahu, wahdahu la sharika lahu, lahul-mulku wa lahul-hamdu, wa Huwa 'ala kulli shay'in Qadir (There is no true god except Allah. He is One and He has no partner with Him. His is the sovereignty and His is the praise, and He is Omnipotent),' he will have a reward equal to that for freeing 4 slaves from the progeny of Prophet Isma'il." Source: Sahih Muslim *4. The Prophet ﷺ said* (to Juwayriya bint al-Harith, after she had been making dua from Dawn to the Forenoon): "I recited four words three times after I had left you. If these are to be weighed against all you have recited since morning, these will be heavier. These are: SubhanAllahi wa bihamdihi, `adada khalqihi, wa rida nafsihi, wa zinatah `arshihi, wa midada kalimatihi [Glory is to Allah and praise is to Him, as many times as the number of His creatures, as much as pleases Him, equal to the weight of His Throne and equal to the ink needed to record His words]." The Prophet ﷺ said:* The most superior way of asking for forgiveness from Allah is: "Allahumma anta Rabbi la ilaha illa anta, Khalaqtani wa ana `Abduka, wa ana `ala `ahdika wa wa`dika mastata`tu, A`udhu bika min Sharri ma sana`tu, abu'u Laka bini`matika `alaiya, wa abu'u laka bidhanbi faghfir lee fa innahu la yaghfiru adhdhunuba illa anta." (O Allah! You are my Rubb (Lord). There is no God but You. You have created me, and I am Your slave, and I hold to Your Covenant as far as I can. I seek refuge in You from the evil of what I have done. I acknowledge the favours that You have bestowed upon me, and I confess my sins. Pardon me, for none but You has the power to pardon) The Prophet (ﷺ) added: "If somebody recites it during the day with firm faith in it, and dies on the same day before the evening, he will be from the people of Paradise; and if somebody recites it at night with firm faith in it, and dies before the morning, he will be from the people of Paradise." If a woman wants to pray Jummah in the mosque, she has to avoid perfume and adornments, and not crowd together with men in the streets. Praying Jummah at home on one's own is not valid for either a man or a woman. Based on this, for a woman, if you do not go to the mosque to pray Jummah, then you should pray 4 rakats of Dhuhr at home.
