Sometimes you just don't know what to pray for...maybe you've been praying and waiting for something for so long and nothing has changed, so you don't know if God wants you to surrender your desire or keep praying for it in faith. A Bible verse I have been trying to memorize and pray continually is Psalm 23:1-3 which says, "The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He makes me lie down in green pastures. He leads me beside still waters. He restores my soul. He leads me in paths of righteousness for His name's sake." Lord, I have everything I need in You. You provide for each of my needs as I need them, I don't need to think ahead to needs I'll have in the future, wondering how they'll be met. You are my provider. Praying in this season has been super difficult for me. I’ve experienced loss after loss and I don’t have the words anymore because I feel so beaten down. Now my prayers sound like , “God, just help me”.

Hey I’m going through a similar experience. I heard these words the other day and it’s helped tremendously. God wants you to lean into him. Meaning all your pain he knows about. You don’t need to tell him really even though it’s really hard not to but ultimately that at the end of our tears we come to a place where we’ve cried all the tears we have for the day. Now just rest in Christ. Rest in the knowledge that his word is true. That all things in his time are good. Surrender to him. Most of my prays this week have been silent. He’s still answering them. Don’t lose hope. Many feel his coming is just around the corner.

I'm struggling with this too. I am pretty new to my faith and I feel like every time I pray about my wants, needs, and needing Gods guidance I feel like I just ramble, jumble my words, and just talk too much. I just can't seem to find the right words. I try to remind myself that even though it might not make sense out loud, God knows what I am trying to say and he hears me.

Be patient with yourself, and he does know what you mean.. In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness. We do not know what we ought to pray for, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us through wordless groans. 27 And he who searches our hearts knows the mind of the Spirit, because the Spirit intercedes for God’s people in accordance with the will of God. I don’t know if you like to sing but when I don’t know what to say I just sing to him my thoughts and they don’t have to sound pretty but it helps you feel more relaxed and Vulnerable to him. I think sometime the reason we can’t pray it’s because we don’t fully trust him… our flesh tries to keep us down while our spirit wants to live, when I sing or pray I love to say. “I believe in you” over and over again and each time my heart believes more because I feel him and can hear him and my mind becomes flooded with scripture. You will be in my prayers❤️May the lord keep you safe.

Jesus, hear my prayers because I am weak. As a single parent things are hard on me both of my sons are autistic and my hours to work are limited because I’m now homeschooling them. I’m constantly struggling to provide the basic necessities for them I’m so ashamed. I suffered an heart attack and I’m battling lupus I’m overwhelmed. Father God hear my prayers. I constantly struggle to pay my bills and struggle to provide groceries. BUT I KEEP FAITH. Even though I want to give up. Jesus please take the fear from my heart. This was so helpful, thank you. I am struggling with grieving the sudden death of my beloved partner, but I have surrendered this to God and I am slowly healing, I also have chronic and painful health conditions and heart disease and am housebound a lot of the time, but these are the times I spend learning about and getting close to Him. My favourite verse to pray is 2 Corinthians 4:16-18 16 Therefore we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day. 17 For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all. 18 So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.

Great job! This ties with the video. I send out bi-weekly emails, a lot of them I’ll take portions of scripture (like Psalm 8, for example) and add prayer points based on scripture. I do this to help people pray the Word. I also will write prayers. As I grow in the Word, I’ve had more understanding to His Word and His Will over my life. God is faithful❤

Which Bible is a good one to follow? To understand and be able to read from a beginner’s perspective

The Easy to Read Version (ERV) is quite simple to follow! I also like to use the Amplified version (AMP) as it sometimes explains things a bit deeper, but also the wording can get a bit long and complicated at times. I feel as though the New Living Translation (NLT) is a good balance between these two suggestions (CSB and NIV are also fairly similar). I also like to use The Passion Translation (TPT) sometimes, although it’s not available for all the books in the Bible. Bit of a wide selection! But maybe you could test these out with an online Bible/Bible app first, then see which one you’d be more comfortable with having as a paper version. Then you could always use other online versions to compare with whichever physical one you choose, and feel free to explore other versions I haven’t mentioned as well! ❤

Im 33 and I have a huge desire to have kids more than marriage but I also want to get married before I have kids. I always wondered why God put the idea of children into my head Im super maternal and I work with children, however despite being in a home with 2 married loving parents the idea of marriage has always scared me. However, contradicting myself Im also terrified of being a single mom and the home statistics without a father is very frightening for me. I sometimes feel like I am never going to get married or have children though because of 1) where i live 2) my values and 3) just this generation i am currently living in.. everyone seems to be enthralled in hook up culture and i do not Like it at all. I sometimes Feel so lost. I also say I would rather stay single and celibate and make sure I am in heaven with Jesus than to get these earthly things and be hell bound… but sometimes I just feel so lost. I want to have a Biblical family and still be able to live where I live so I can help my mom out and not have to move so far, but I feel like in order to fulfill my prophecy I need to move and start over. I feel lost. Pray for me.

Just sounds like I'm wasting my time. I could pray to god for a wife until I'm blue in the face and get nothing but silence and ignored. This stupid, worthless desire has been with me for a long long time and after growing bitter, angry and insulted over all these other favorites getting what I wanted for a long time and at a young age, im tired and im done. Why should I pray or ask god for a wife when it'll never amount to anything. Why try when its all just utterly pointless.
