Which sealant are you using. I need to paint on wood like these pieces with acrylic paint. And do I have to gesso after the sealant? I would like to paint on the natural wood after it has been sealed. Can I do that?

On certain woods such as pine wood you can apply acrylic without gesso 👍

If you can apply gesso without lumps, you can totally skip it👍 Otherwise after all gesso layers are dried up it’s difficult to remove gesso lumps.
