I think listening to it on audio first and then reading it would work for me. I also like the idea of studying the maps

I’ve been reading three chapters a day from my ESV study Bible. I read a section and then read the study notes for those verses as I go along. When I’m done with the chapters I will open my ESV Bible app and listen to those chapters being read to me.

Love that you have a plan, Cindy! May your heart be drawn to the beauty of Jesus in His Word as you spend time with Him each day! 💛

I really appreciated all your getting started ideas! I will be participating in Bible Study Fellowship's study of Revelation this fall. I am wondering how you would "map" that. Also, from what we can see, your shirt looks so cute. Where can we find it?

Thank you so much for this video. Ironically, I too am just getting ready to start reading and studying the book of Exodus. However, it is by myself. 😊

Ooo... Exodus is such a fun book! I found The Bible Project classroom to be a source of such helpful info, after I studied the text myself. Hope your time in Exodus is a blessing to you as it has been to me! 💛

I really enjoyed this, thanks for sharing! Love the map and audio tips, these were new to me, will definitely include in my setup routine. I also like to include a general outline with brief descriptions of chapters that fit under the particular outline points.

Nothing I’ve done when reading the Bible has done anything to help me understand it. It’s proving to be an impossible book to understand.

Blessings. If you haven’t already, perhaps this suggestion may be of some help…compare a couple of Bible translations on some favorite or random verses and see which translation you comprehend more easily…and when you find the translation that resonates with you best, I have faith the Word will begin to draw you in. (NLT, NIV, MSG, ESV, CSB…)

@@yfernandez83 it has nothing to do with the version I’m reading and everything to do with me being too stupid to understand it
