You forgot to mention which is very Important especially for new cruisers.... - leave your attitude ashore. It is a attitude free ship. Do not bitch about other people. So leave your attitude ashore. - say hi to everyone ..it doesn't mean you are wanting to get into their pants but you could meet the most amazing people that could be your friends. - people are not all muscle queens or twinks the majority are around 30-50. -be friendly. Be friendly. And all else be friendly. There is a mix bag of people who will be on board. Say hi to all and have fun.

It was a pretty awesome cruise for sure! I was about as prepared as I could or wanted to me, not much I'd do very differently, but I did learn a few new tricks for future cruises :)

Not sure how it is on bigger cruises but I'd recommend bringing some air fresheners, to help with odor circulations when eventually everyone will have to use the cabin restrooms at one point need to go number two :) and maybe some suction hooks to provide some extra toiletry storage if needed for convenience

Great tips! Some of my friends swear by Poo Pourri. I've not usually found that to be an issue, it could have something to do with the design of the ship as well (maybe some have fans for the bathroom the vents to the outside directly). I have a travel toiletries bag with a hook that hangs onto the towel hook/rail and it's a great way to conserve counter space while keeping everything neat and in one place.

Andres Felipe Gutierrez just swim shorts and t or tank top for day.shorts or jeans for night and t or polo. Don't need to get dressed up for dinner. It's very relaxed. Many takes heaps of clothes and change all the time but you'll more than likely not change a lot. Less is more

Thanks! In very general terms (as it's quite a personal and subjective thing IMO) I'd aim for: - at least one casual shirt per day (informal tees and tanks are my choice) - a few shorts to pair them with as it's usually on the warmer side - a few swimsuits for the pool - activity-specific clothing for excursions or different activities on the ship - a long pair of pants in case it gets colder - something just a little nicer in case you want to go to one of the nice restaurants (smart casual should do)

Your videos are great. I will be going on Atlantis on whatever cruise they plan for January of 2019. Do you have some suggestions on what clothing to bring for things like theme parties? Does Atlantis let you know what the them parties will be when you book the cruise with them?

Thanks! Atlantis announces the party themes roughly a month in advance so you have time to plan outfits. The sky is the limit in terms of what outfits you design! Just don't bring anything that is or resembles weapons or something law enforcement might use (like plastic handcuffs). Check out some of my cruise/party videos on the channel and you'll get an idea of the type of outfits people usually wear.

Definitely go for the 7 day options, especially if it's your first time. A 2 week cruise can quickly seem like an eternity

Atlantis will email out the party themes about a month before the cruise, and based on those themes you can come up with a matching outfit

I have a question. What is the alcohol situation? Are there like open complementary bars? Or a certain arrangement where I don’t have carry my credit card or sort of payment ?

Great question! Most cruises do not provide alcoholic drinks for free. Usually there are different beverage packages you can buy, some include alcohol. Usually the packages are per-person (you're not supposed to use your package to buy drinks for others). If you don't have a package, you can pay for alcoholic drinks individually. On most ships, you pay with a card or a wristband for everything onboard and it gets charged to a credit card on your account, and no cash is used.

+S R Usually the cheapest rooms are around $800 per person assuming dual occupancy. With taxes and fees on top of that, it's about $1300 total per person for the booking. A passport is required.

+S R Atlantis has a program to match people up to be roommates. Otherwise there are usually Facebook groups for each cruise where you can look for a roommate. But if you can afford it, it is really nice to have a room to yourself!

Don't be afraid! Atlantis has a roommate program to pair up solo travelers together. Once you're on the ship you'll find a wide variety of settings and activities to start meeting others at your own pace. If you want to, you can definitely spend some quality solo time on the cruise and not feel out of place (I occasionally do that on the cruise).
