Hi Shivam, How to get remote Front-end/Full-Stack job in US or Europe? I'm from India. Every company asks for minimum of 3-5 years of experience even in India too. But, the problem is I have got zero years of experience. I have learnt and built project on my own. Currently, I'm preparing for interview. What should I do to get a job in US/Europe or in India with no experience?

Hey! I actually made a video a while back about how I started, it can give you some tips on how to get started too: How To Become A Self Taught Software Engineer Without A College Degree kzbin.info/www/bejne/poHTpqOjltV_jsk But in your case, what I recommend is to get an internship in India, whether that’s paid or unpaid for a short period of time. During that time, also work on building small side projects to add to your portfolio. Then try and work for a company in India for 1-3 years, then apply for jobs in the us. Truth be told, this is an extremely selective market for junior engineers in the USA, so if you want to stand a chance, you have to get a bit of experience before coming to the us.

I have a doubt. Let’s say you have 3+ years of experience. Do you still need to add projects on your resume? If yes then what can be great projects to make as a senior frontend engineer?

Hi, truth be told, if you have 3 years of experience it’ll be very difficult to classify yourself as a senior engineer. Generally, that’s past 7 years to be considered senior, however, if you get into FANNG early and crush it, there is a chance you can get senior in 3-4 years if you stay there. In terms of projects on your resume, the more senior you are, the less personal/school projects you should mention and instead, mention your past work at previous companies and how it helped improve their top line metrics

Why is it so much less in other countries, even in rich EU countries like the UK? Most seniors in the UK make around £70K. I'm lucky as I work for a US company, so it's a bit more, but now I have a problem switching jobs. There is nothing better out there unless I somehow get a visa and immigrate.
