I will appear for nimcet in 2025 and if I get a good rank, will the top nit colleges consider Discrete structure as a math subject?

Only 11th, 12th Maths will not work. I would say to pick one previous year paper and see what you think about the questions. NIMCET maths is not easy but it's not too difficult as IITs. If you are focused and your concepts are clear. You can crack it. The more you practice questions the easier it will be for you.

Hello , there's no one book that would be best. You need to have 2 books - one for clearing concepts( for this 10th and 12th NCERT is enough ) and one for practising questions ( mock test paper, previous year paper, - Arihant publs.) would be enough.
