If you're looking for the new sets and want them quickly, you can farm 500 shards on season, 500 on non season, wait until the season ends to have 1000 blood shards, and then spend them once the patch hits. With 1000 blood shards you are most likely going to find a few pieces of one of the new sets, making it much easier and faster to complete it.

Dash Monk seems to be my go-to build for 2.2... Dat great survivability without Unity and the fact that I pretty much never find a good group for higher tiers (CCers/tanks/buffers & max DPS from other classes than DH)... Speaking of which, I hope something like Unity (the fact that it's SP only, that mechanics themselves) never happens next expansion (as I don't believe they'll ever change it/remove it now).

Correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't the latest PTR patch nerf Nats by setting rain of vengeance so that only the first hit of the resource spending skill contributes to cool down reduction? This would make the strafe and rapid fire build obsolete. Also I think that the multishot build is what's gonna shine in 2.2, not Nats.

Thanks again for a great vid. Getting back to D3 after a lot of PoE has been much simpler due to your guides and help. I have a question (probably a stupid one, but I'll ask anyway), does Blizzard want players to focus on one or two best builds (like the WW Barb) per class ? PoE offers you the ability to create some crazy builds, and I'm not comparing the two games, as it seems that D3 has so many skill combinations, you should be able to create some interesting variations, yet very few players do.

Do you have a get lv 70 asap guide for season 3? The previous patch there was a quest bug that people abused to get 70 in arround 30 minutes (it was ridiculous) , it has been hotfixed and i hope no shit like that happens again. Anyway my strat will be : Bountyes of two kinds : "clear this zone" (gives most exp , and exept one in A3 it needs too much time) "cleansed the cursed anything" Rinse and repeat Ofc i'm thorn between doing that and just plain clean bountyes to farm up keys. And then obviously i will need my two months to get able to go T6 given my RNG luck :D

currently running a crusader with 16m toughness and 424k damage. Since I mostly run solo torment 1 rifts, is it worthwhile for me to lose some toughness for some more damage, because my clear seems to have slowed down a bit with the latest patch.

dear rhykker, i have on my non seasonal barb, an old bullkathos. rolled 750str, 35%crit, and a socet, unfortunatly this was befor ramalandi gift,(or ancients) so i rerolled min max damage.(blizzard trolled me well) but my question is, i have not seen this sword drop in season 2 with crit damage of any kind. do you think the retroactive set changes, will delete this stat from my sword? or even worse, will this sword no longer work with the new set. and be an Old Legacy type?

Someone gave me a sword that suppose to give a billion xp per kill before the patch it wasn't giving me this but now with the new patch it fixed that and now I'm getting just that a billion xp per kill. I whent from paragon 200 + to 1695 in less the 20 min.with 28 million damage but with the paragons I'm always upping this. Also I like the new tressure goblins

***** Nah, make it about 90% uptime. Using IK full set with skull grasp, double bul kathos, poison immune neck, royal ring, wrath bracers, and skeleton shoulders (for the oh sh!t moments). Get 100% uptime on everything and always capped fury, even when 100% WW uptimes.

You should put a disclaimer...do not waste ur time trying to find the IK boulder breaker or Inna's Reach Daibo...why b/c if you have older versions of those, when 2.2 goes live they will NOT update with their latest affixes. IK with the + Ancients Damage...and Inna's with +Mystic Ally damage. Just a thought. My first instinct was to go farm Bul Kathos for barb and while finding those is great finding an IK boulder breaker is actually not recommended at this point.

Darkwiz666 None of that applies to lex1247's comment. Inna's Reach and IK Boulder Breaker ARE parts of the sets, obviously. So it should be clarified that the weapons in these sets won't be retroactively buffed. All that is mentioned in the video however is that sets=retroactive, legendaries = not retroactive blanket statement that doesn't cover the exceptions to that rule.

Hmm rifts, really. Your toughness is very high; you can afford to lose toughness to gain damage. Check out my gearing guides.

Cody Patterson No problems, I've been using the Gizzard gem on my Monk in season 2. I know that some players have been using the Esoteric Alteration for the non-physical damage reduction. It's worth messing around with noth gems once you've got them leveled.

i haven't played much diablo. i played quite a bit at release and a little bit at ROS release. i suffer from altoholism, so i never got very far. my strongest hero is in t2 atm. i really liked the perma tempest rush build back when that was a thing. i generally want to play this game more or less on auto pilot. hours of farming should be trivial after all. that rules crusader, one of my favourite classes, out unfortunately. it takes forever to kill single targets. i can't get monk to work for the life of me but she seems to have the same problem. dh dies instantly. barb takes forever to kill single targets too. whirlwind barb looks so nice, though. i just want to play something lazy^^ i'll probably use my least favourite class, the voodoo doctor, first. minion master gameplay is always relaxed. i still don't like the voodoo theme, though. creeps me out. i'd rather have skeletons and golems, than frogs and fetishes. it seems i need either the elusive mask of jeram or the grin reaper or i'll be stuck in t1 forever but 2000+ bloodshards say no to me. my strongest char atm is the wizard. i like her a lot and your mirror image build works really well and is relaxed too. still only at 3/6 firebird, so i probably can't progress until the last bonus is unlocked, either. i don't know what the equivalent to grift 26 is but that's my limit atm and t3 seems not quite as efficient as i'd like it to be. finding sockets on jewelry is also problem too. i got all the legendary gems but i can't use them. rerolling a sucky rorg for the thousandth time and still not getting a socket is so frustrating >_> i only play solo, so everything takes a bit longer but i get very disheartened when i see videos titled t1-t6 in a day, while i'm stuck there for weeks. how long ingame time is it supposed to take before i can actually find good loot regularly? my DH has ~110 hours and the rest have 40+ hours and i'm pretty much stuck in t1. and yes i've watched you guides. it's pretty much what i thought was right. mainstat, max sockets, crit, crit damage, elemental damage, so i think i'm not doing anything wrong on the gearing part. how much time should i need to invest in a solo char to get her to comfortably farm t6 on average?

You CANNOT prepare for Seasons, unless you are talking about preparing for testing the sets on PTR... Legendaries you farm on PTR doesn't transfer, and you cannot transfer Non-seasonal characters to seasons. So this "preparation" guide is misleading.
