I appreciate it if you could teach me how helpful graduate classes are in getting an internship at a tech company. I guess grad school classes mainly deal with theory so everyone should train programming skills by myself, right?

I would say compare the courses offered as the location is same in this case. Personally, as of now I am biased towards USC, also because I have not done indepth research on UCLA.
