Does the heat denature or get zap the nutrients in it? I’ve always been confused about that.

It does, but so long as it the water is boiled and cooled to no less than the recommendations for your formula, it should be good enough to kill the bacteria. Some formulas have on their website a range of temperatures where you can mix the formula and it will prevent it from denaturing the product.

The formula is very foamy.
