i love how genuine you are about reuse/reduce. there are some youtubers i watch who talk about doing that, but if you watch what they actually do, they are buying tons of things for every video (non-food things), they're using more than they need to, they throw out stuff that can be used. and often the "tips" they give for reducing consumption involve buying something, often something expensive. lots of the tips you give though, such as using paper packaging in containers or the bubble wrap in the fridge, are things that even i, a grad student working part time, can do! you have not just the aesthetics of low consumption, but the actual practice of it

I lived with my grandparents growing up and my grandmother thought me to cook. We mostly ate vegetables that they grew in their garden, very little meat. My grandmother was a wonderful cook, but a very rustic cook. She just chopped vegetables however she felt like it for the most part, and I am always in awe of your chopping skills. I hope I can practice and become half as good as you are. ❤

I am from Taiwan, my mom goes to only traditional markets, because it’s used too much plastic packets in supermarkets which is also an environmental issue in my home country. i am living in France now, not only in traditional markets but also in supermarkets we always find fresh vegetables and fruits without packets , in markets the vendeurs they even though use only recycled paper bags, but we always ask without any bags just all in my basket 🧺 I hope all around the world can change the behavior to reduce using plastic 🙏🏻

I agree with your there's more to life than constantly cleaning & organizing. I follow a lot of KZbinrs when they put out a video watch me clean & organize I'm like NO who cares and who does that everyday??? I don't watch them, I would rather make my family healthy good meal & spend time with them when their all home. Life is short I've learned that more these past 2 years than worry about arranging my dishes, clothes, tableware & cleaning everyday!
