would you install new plugs after or before starting it for the first time allowing the fogging oil to burn off?

I'm confused i live in ky and our winters are maybe 3 months. But we get some nice days during the winter in which I take the boat out during those days and run my motor. Do I need to winterize it then? My boat doesn't sit for more than a month at a time, in a protected garage.

I have a 1971 100hp Johnson outboard motor that is stuck in forward. I checked the wiring and that isn't the problem. Do you have any suggestions on how to fix this?

Why do you talk about fogging intake with fogging oil? Modern Yamaha 4 stroke EFI motors need to be fogged with a gas/fogging solution mix. 2 gallons of gas mixed with Yamalube fogging solution (946ml) and mixed with Yamaha fuel stabilizer and Ring Free. New, ethanol free gas, is required (ideal at least). You mention spraying this junk in the plugs that will cause more issues in the spring. This is not a universal coverage.
