Skaters have made this trick a trend to not like or it's some sort of joke nowadays. But it IS a trick, I learned them nollie at first, in 1991, if you watch videos from 91 or 92 you'll notice everyone did them back them. It's not that easy of a trick, but when you get it down it's like second nature. I can still do them almost first try everytime and I don't really skate anymore. They are almost like doing a shuv it without the pop or an impossible. It's about placement of the feet on the back foot, and the scoop of that foot. Also don't follow trendy skaters who want to say this isn't a trick. props to Jonny for going against that trend and making a video, respect!

For those of you confused on how to do this trick think of it as a shuvit that tucks under itself, you don't pop the pressure creates a pop like affect so you will need to raise your back foot like a pop shuvit. Put pressure on the corner, then do a bs shuvit while raising front foot at the same time. Jump one board space Infront of you. Jump in a lower case n shape, land front foot first then back foot.

@matthewabbott5884 жыл бұрын
I might add to this that the pressure comes from the front foot as your are releasing the pressure built up between the two feet to create the energy that gives you the pop at the tail. so you push down on the corner of the tail with the back foot then hold the pressure with the front foot. release the pressure by lifting the front foot and as the tail pops as jonny says scoop. get the pressure balance right and the release and they are easy don't get the pressure balance and release right and you will be doing this for ages. again as I put below as your scooping off one corner with a heap of pressure razor tail.
@thebayharborbutcher9115 Жыл бұрын

Word of advice I know you're pro but you're not better at pressure flips than me, I noticed that you have to turn your board 10ish degrees towards the end of the flip to go back to riding straight after or before landing. Reason behind that is because you're not putting enough force behind the shuvit. Shuvit just a little bit harder and you'll have perfect rotations every time
