Hi Eric, If your local stores does not carry the T-Turns, you can always buy them on line. The T-Turns really do work great - they really are fantastic!

If your local tack shop does not have them, you can always buy them on line by visiting Thundermist lure company web site. the only large store carrying the T-Turns would be Dicks and they are only in certain stores. One thing is certain, you are going to love using the T-Turns :)

The difference is that the T-Turn has a centre swivel which rotates freely, 360 degrees and this allows you to fish tangle free - this is a huge advantage over conventional 3-way swivels :)

a barrel swivel and fast lock snap would be good to use - keep your sizes smaller for the pan fish and trout :)

@nmigliore A 3-way swivel may be used for still-fishing from a pier. The 3-way will be tied to your main line. Tie a 2 foot long drop line from the swivel to a sinker. Tie a 1 foot long leader from the swivel to a hook. Drop your baited line to the bottom. When the sinker touches bottom, tighten the line. Now your bait will be suspended at least 1 foot above bottom.This is a good location for the bait to be in as many fish will be near bottom. Thanks & good fishing!

They should be working great for you.....just be sure when you tie your knot, that you trim up the tag ends nice and close and you should be good to go :)

You guys are usually always on boats trolling or drifting; I was wondering - can you use your typical 3-way swivel setup for fishing from a pier as well ('still fishing' I think its called)? Will the bait still suspend 'x' amount of feet off the bottom, or is it designed only for trolling/drifting? Thanks!
