I put a little high temp grease on the threads and the tapers of the muzzle break/flash hider. Has done great so far.

I use a rubber strap wrench to remove my suppressor. I also have a silicone hot pad to grip the outside of the can. I never have a stuck suppressor again.

Travis is the NFA version of Lurch. Travis just holds his gun over his head since he can reach the upper atmosphere to cool his stuff down.

Your thumbs up was at 223 and I got to be the guy to ruin that cool number lol. Good video fellas. I just obtained my first suppressor and want to get as much maintenance knowledge before I head to the range.

I was gonna do the antiseeze thang but after applying it to one sections threads i declared that stuff is entirely too messy. And it does not "easily" wipe off like some claim. Matter of fact its damn near as much of a pain to get off as carbon. Ill get some kind of high temp grease. No thank you antiseeze.

If you shoot suppress like I do, may I suggest you clean your rifle twice as often as you would if shooting non-suppressed. As to handguns, not sure but I would suspect I would do the same. I can almost guarantee suppressor lock up due to carbon build up will not occur.

My adapter got stuck and unthreaded with the suppressor there's no way of getting them separated at the moment going to try more loctite on the threads and put it back on and see if I can break it loose any ideas?

You sure you're engaging the locking mount all the way? I had that problem but I used a strap wrench to tighten it further and it fixed the issue. There should be a "thunk" when the locking collar locks into place.
