@@sebwen581 There are many who both listen to science, news, see the gaps and get the gut feelings about what is left out in the official record, understand that there are political elements and agendae in the passage of all information, then rightly doubt the "scientists" and news. Then the proceed to more advanced studies, such as academic journals, contacting experts in relevant fields, and continuing to source information from their own pre-existing expertise. Here, there is a new growing consensus that those who listen to scientists and watch news are, in fact, those endangering others' lives and their own by having extremely low standards for truth, the inability to understand and discern obvious realities beyond the blind trust in corrupt uniformed officials, and the continuance of unwise and self-destructive social control measures that are disguised as best practices to pacify those with the inability or willing ignorance to find truly wise measures concerning their lives and the lives of others.

Yes caution is essential in case of any disease and too many people take either stance too far but it's pretty interesting how we're not supposed to think once a thought is popular enough.Rules are not to hinder human thought but an easy way out if you don't want to think. Besides, the real argument here is that the lockdowns in the developed world has already starved millions to death in the third world. A great depression resulting from prolonged shutdowns would kill far more than the disease itself could hope for. And that's not to mention the spike in suicides, overdoses, and domestic abuse that the lockdowns have caused in the west. The WHO(or the UN. @@robyns.1734 I am truly sorry for those in your circle of friends, who have loved ones who died of this virus. But it’s good to question much of what’s being reported. We know the survivability of this virus. So how does one account for all the deaths associated with it? It’s a fact that many deaths are falsely attributed to Covid. That major diseases and health issues that normally kill people every year, have suddenly dropped in fatalities. Heart disease, cancer, diabetes, etc. How is that? There is much that they aren’t telling us. Mixed messages, scientists disagreeing with each other, governors and mayors destroying their states and cities over this. Something is terribly wrong.

@@truepeace3 Questioning authority is fine, of course I think that we should be doing everything in our power to help the people who are struggling because of the restrictions put in place, well above and beyond what the government has done. however, I won’t pretend to be an expert in politics or virology, I was voicing my opinion that I think it’s best to be careful while we don’t know all the information. As you say, there have been mixed messages. We can’t even be certain about a particular number for infection fatality rate as it can depend on the level of care people are able to receive. so the whole point of my original comment was to say that in depth research should be made before making any claims. For instance, I am not sure about your claim that there has been a decreased rate in reports of other fatalities such as heart disease or diabetes; i have read that there are more fatalities of heart disease this year due to the fact that people have been avoiding the hospitals which could be an even larger problem www.washingtonpost.com/graphics/2020/investigations/coronavirus-excess-deaths-heart/ I know you may not agree, so if you have information you’d want to share (only if you want to) about your claim I’d really be open to it, I’m not trying to start an argument, just genuinely trying to gather information.

I can understand this frustration. Esspecially in the US C-19 amplified power imbalances and the lack of a social safety net. In a country where individual rights collide with a collective threat and where economic hardships are administered additionally to the disease without proper compensation from the government it is just unbelievably annoying to say the least. I hope everyone can be healthy and prosperous again one day. But I fear also that this will be a possibility to gain more control over people...but I also want to protect others from getting sick. it is a double-edged sword. Much love and hope to everyone suffering from either the one or the other thing.

I'm no virologist, but I think the reason why we need to do quarantining and wear face masks to stop "spreading" the virus is because viruses mutate over time when not prevented and that would pose a greater threat than what we face rn. The very small 1-2% fatality rate of Covid-19 may be credited to the measures taken to curb the spread of the virus. This is an interesting video (my inner INTJ is begging to differ) because I never would have thought wearing masks is a political issue (in my country at least). I'll agree to disagree and still look forward to your MBTI videos.

Fellow INTJ here. When people talk about survival rates, they ignore people who express symptoms but don't die. There are people who went through hell for weeks fighting the virus to just barely survive. Are we to say their suffering does not matter simply because they didn't die? There are reports of people who are going to be in physical therapy for months just for being on a ventilator for a couple of days. Most people survive, yes. But there are still survivors who undergo great suffering, either on their own or because of watching people around them die. And as you said, viruses mutate, making them increasingly difficult to fight. After people start taking this "vaccine", the virus will undoubtedly mutate again. Now, with that said, it is absurd to shut down an entire country for an unforeseen amount of time. I had to move out of the college town I was living in because it could barely function once the university was shut down and students were forced to go home. I had no choice but to keep working during the stay at home order because I didn't qualify for that cushy stimulus check and there weren't any rent freezes. There may be a pandemic, but I still have bills to pay. Add to this, quarantine has proven to fail unless it is reinforced. It is not enough to shut down businesses and tell people to stay home. You have to MAKE people stay home or else they won't, making the entire thing useless. Making wearing a mask in public buildings a regulation, fine. But just walking down the street? Really puts a strain on people with breathing issues and who can't afford to keep buying masks or keep washing the ones they have (this coin shortage is terrible for people who were relying on laundromats!!). And as he pointed out, viruses happen. If America had taken proper steps like Korea had early on, we would have nipped the pandemic in the bud. But now it's to a point where it's literally impossible to get rid of it. It's too widespread, and too many carriers are asymptomatic. It is here to stay. We can minimize it like we do the flu, but we're not going to be able to get rid of it. It's just a common disease now. So, Bogdan has some good points but also goes to the extreme (I also found it unnecessary to bring up abortion multiple times). If this virus hadn't become a political point, perhaps everyone would be thinking more rationally about it. Instead, everyone is "taking sides" and trying to prove their neighbor wrong. No amount of Biden-bashing or Trump-trashing is going to alter facts...
@marstap
@marstap 3 жыл бұрын
@@sophiefilo16 point taken. I am also very frustrated with the long lockdowns going on in my country (almost 9mos of lockdown already). I came from a poor family, and the current situation is hurting us financially. I guess it all boils down to our government's inaction to the virus when it was still not very widespread. I do agree with some points in Bogdan's video; viruses do exist with us since time immemorial, but we still have to take drastic measures for the pandemic today because we don't have any cure for it unlike other viral diseases. The best we could hope for is that most of us have already developed herd immunity, for we can't go on lockdown any longer because it's hurting our country's economy. And? So he supports not killing innocent lives and that is an issue because? It's disgusting how much society has been brainwashed into believing that killing a human life should be a right. Science and many doctors have proven that abortion is amoral and actually does cause pain to the babies who are being killed out of pure selfishness. And NO, DON'T use rape as an excuse. Studies have shown that about 98% of abortions are given to young females who were not raped but instead simply did not want the child or felt this was the only option. There are better alternatives, but everyone automatically jumps to murdering babies because what rules their hearts is evil and oppression from the media and news outlets that continue to push this agenda and way of thinking into young impressionable female minds. It is sick.

@@cristoesfiel6654 I hate abortion with a burning passion but from what you're saying is that rape pregnancies are unlikely to happen because of what statistics say is highly ignorant. Just because you don't see it happening doesn't mean it's not happening. I don't like abortion, I'm just thinking of the underage girls who were raped by family members, friends, or whoever and have to be forced to carry out that pregnancy. And don't say that that particular scenario hasn't happened because it HAS happened.

@@linneav1064 He's not telling women what to do, he is simply stating the obvious - killing babies is S I C K. Women know better and want equality but don't want to hear the facts of the matter. As a women myself - it is pretty damn shameful to see how poorly women are conducting themselves demanding "equality" but then not stepping up to the plate when given opportunities to be "equals." The same women who want equality are the same women who do not want to be drafted into war should anything crazy happen. There is plenty of other examples, but I will save my time and yours... I know you're an INFP and think with your "feelings," but factually speaking - feelings don't matter nearly as much as facts when a matter of fact and feeling is life or death for a child facing the cruel fate of abortion. -INTP

@@bananaroyal8450 No, you nitpicked my statement to find something negative. Rape pregnancies can happen, obviously. However, my point was that the statistics show that the majority of women getting abortions are NOT rape victims. Instead, the majority of women getting abortions are women who simply do not feel like they want to have children or are capable.

Thank you for exercising your free speech, Bogdan. Frankly, I have to agree with you on this topic, if we lived in a time where people really cared about the health AND rights of each other then assuming that all medical scientists still really thought at this point that all of their mandates were effective, than they wouldn't be mandated, they would be strong recommendations. And if we had real selfless leaders, their recommendations would be followed by most people much more willingly and thankfully. If you look at history, you can see the patterns that come with people losing their freedom repeated over and over. Gaslighting is real, and even if we still have a lot of freedoms in the US, there's noticeably less than there was less than a year ago. I know people in their 80s who still attended worship throughout the lockdowns, they knew there was risks, and though one of them died from other causes earlier this year, the other one continues to exercise her freedom of worship.
