It makes sense to me, plus if it’s opening in the back, seems like it would be tighter in the front? Don’t matter Jordy it’s like concrete, which is what I do, will trowel in a control joint, 4 months later it cracks right beside it or threw it!😂

I’ve carved on arborvitae and it was only partly dried with no cracks to show. On elm which was dead a short while before felling and no cracks hardly. But on oak which I did only by chainsaw it was much cracked. Why the arborvitae didn’t which is kind of like willow wood maybe I don’t know so maybe a good prayer and blessing can help LOL or it’s how fast it dries?
