I’ve been using a phased pricing system for about four years, ever since I read Michael Janda's book The Psychology of Graphic Design Pricing, where he goes into great detail about it. While I don’t apply this method to every project, I always use phased pricing for annual reports, websites, and logo designs-it’s the only approach that makes sense to me for those types of work.

Great video, Dave! I thought the idea of building a proposal with the client was very interesting. I can see how this approach would increase sales since there’s transparency and the customer would feel involved in the process. 😊
