big thing is communication and hopping on that phone call a lot of times clients just don't even know what the cost of creating their brands is like, so pricing yourself, itemizing everything through a invoice and really seeing what the cost could be is important as a creative. Definitely levarging your peers for a higher budget even if you don't make more, will make a better product for you to utilize tell other clients how you had 30+ people on set and then charge 200kfor the next one and make everyone eat! Dope pod boyz

This was one of the most helpful podcasts I've ever listened to, so thank you guys! Just wondering - what percentage do you typically charge for a rush fee? I've charged everywhere from 20% to 50% more, depending on how much of a rush, but I didn't know if there's more of a standard for that.

We love how much value you feel like this podcast episode brought you! Sounds like you're right in the pocket as far as percentage goes. We typically charge 50% of your rate for a rush fee. However it all depends on how quickly they want it, and percentages can go all the way up to 100% of your fee. Again it all depends on the work, and how quickly they want it turned around. Just make sure to have in your contract when you originally plan on having the deliverables to them by, and a clause in there that says you charge more for rushed work.
