Deserve more views and subs brotha! Been studying your vids and the process of dtf/making tees and made me take a dive into it! Excited to learn the process & as well as learning tips like yours from people who’ve been mastering this! I wouldve definitely made the mistake of not using the heat press pillow for the neck tag, but NOW I KNOW ! THANKS ONCE AGAIN, & surely you guys’ will have a LARGER audience soon, Looking forward to it!

I might have missed it but why use the film on second press as opposed to using Teflon, tseal, etc. Great job and thank you for all the informative videos!
@transfersuperstars10 ай бұрын
There are several covers you can use as a 2nd press. Film is the easiest for us. Teflon gives it a shiny finish and parchment paper isn't really reusable because it veins. so we just flip the film over and re-press.

What are you using to cover the top plate of your press? Teflon?

Wow, so glad I found you... I have a question, where can I purchase T-shirts without tags? I like to create my own like you're showing, and you had a small press for the tags, where can I purchase that. Such awesome content, THANK YOU!
@transfersuperstars5 ай бұрын
You can just buy regular blanks and cut off the tags. This is probably the most common and cost effective way to get good blanks. Some suppliers even have tear away tags.

Im interested in the neck tag. Can you guys make a custom one like the one shown in this video?
@transfersuperstars9 ай бұрын
Unfortunately it is not an artwork project we'd want to take on. Its essentially a custom artwork request for each size.

Question when you press the back print is it considered mirrored
@transfersuperstars6 ай бұрын
No its not considered mirror. If submitting files, do not mirror your artwork

Curious to know what the purpose of the black line on the gangsheet.
@transfersuperstars Жыл бұрын
Its actually not black, it has color values from all channels. We print that line to keep the printhead spraying throughout the job so that there is no ink starvation in the lines.

do i need to adjust the pressure before inserting a pillow to do the other side of the shirt or can i leave it where its at for both prints? just placed a order with you guys i will be using a vevor 15x15 5 in 1
@transfersuperstars Жыл бұрын
Yes adjust the pressure with a pillow first so you can compensate for that. You want it to be a tight clamp. The more pressure the better. Thank you for your order!. Please let us know if you have any other questions.

do i use a teflon sheet on top of the print then flip the print paper and press again or is the parchment / teflon sheet not needed with your prints?@@transfersuperstars

Why is this style used rather than silk-screen? Won't these peel off eventually?
@natalyvrca6693 Жыл бұрын
Great videos love your channel. Do you see a difference in the final texture of the dtf print when doing a full size back and front print, as the heat affects mine from both sides when using a heat resistant silicone pad inbetween the shirt.
@transfersuperstars Жыл бұрын
Why are you using a pad between the shirt? The only thing going between the shirt is usually a heat press pillow.
@natalyvrca6693 Жыл бұрын
The heat resistant silicone pads are widely used and sold in South Africa to create even pressure around seams etc basically the same use as a heat pillow

Help! Are you familiar with transfer issues like transfers being blurry/faded, and solutions? I just bought a heat press, fairly ok model from Amazon, I'm using DTF paper/powder, but my transfers are not transferring. Lol. They are blurry/faded. I've tried cold/warm peel to no avail. Is this a heat press issue, settings issue? Any help is appreciated! I'm trying to design like you! Thanks! =).
@transfersuperstars Жыл бұрын
Blurry? is it blurry before pressing? It sounds like an artwork issue. Make sure you're printing with 300dpi resolution artwork.
@AbeM-y8t Жыл бұрын
@@transfersuperstars No sir. The printouts of designs are normally bright on the dtf paper I'm using. The results are faded. Basically the transfers fail. I'm totally new to this so I guess it's understandable for now. I was just hoping to not encounter issues after getting my first heat press. But learning I am. Any tips or other suggestions that may help me? I mean it should be as easy as placing your designs on garments and transferring with the heat press, right? This entails right pressure, temp, other? Thanks! =)
@transfersuperstars Жыл бұрын
Yes it should be that easy. As long as you dial down your temperature, time, and pressure you should be good to go.
@xviewmytubex Жыл бұрын
@@transfersuperstars By now I've learned this is related to my inkjet printer and pretty much nothing else! And the 'hack' I've learned here and there about requires another printer purchase and 'conversion' (ink/pigment) to work. That's not happening for me now! Thanks again! =).

So time consuming for cold peel 😮
@transfersuperstars11 ай бұрын
Our transfers can actually be peeled both hot or cold. We do let our transfers cool on our videos because at times the transfer has fine details that will transfer better when cold peeled. Just practicing a safer approach. This is especially importing if you're doing fine from like necktags etc.

Isn't it DANGEROUS to Heat Press a DTF transfer without mask & in well ventilated room? Toxic fumes...?
@transfersuperstars2 ай бұрын
Printing the transfers yes, however heatpressing at 300f for 7seconds should be just fine.
