How to Print Cheap, High Quality, Tiny Photos for Journaling, Scrapbooking and Craft Projects

If you ever want to get rid of the white border around the pictures or change the color in pic stitch there's an option in there to take that away or change color also. Just an FYI in case you didn't know. I always get rid of the border around them for more space. Thanks for the tip on using the little blue card from the sprocket I never even thought about doing that, leaving empty space for later, great tip thank you

Walmart has the option for 4x6 for only 14 cents. I do that often and I love it for my B6 stalogy and pocket TN.

Rather than carry around the little sprocket card, you could also design a traceable template in Canva or a similar app and simply print it as a photo. You could do them for all the different sizes you use. For example, choose a blank square template in canva and put "4x4 square template for 9 small square photos" in the font of your choice, save it, and choose that as one of your photos to print. On another note, you can design cute little quotes, poems, phrases, etc ian canva and print those as photos too. The possibilities are endless.

Thank you for the heads up! How did you know that I was thinking about getting a sprocket again? Watching this has me wanting to catch up with my Cousin again. I did so well in January, missed a few days in February, and then journaled a couple days in March... I don't think I've really done anything for April quite yet. I have a list of photos and dates I want to include. Might be time for me to try the pic-stitch app. I ended up trying the Instagram collage one, and going to slowly fill my persnickety print order... one of these days. Maybe when things calm down a little. At this point, I would probably just draw a lot of spirals to fill the empty pages... I feel like I've been spiraling out of control again. Need to find a way to pull out and work on the things I need to do. While I haven't been watching the videos, I'll be back to lurk (in a non-creepy way) in the old videos and catch up one of these days. 😅😛

Just an FIY, Canon has a Selphy app as well which does collages for you. Last year I printed my pictures with their shuffle layout option all the time, because I didn’t want to waste that much paper and like tiny pictures.

This is fantastic! I love my Sprocket, but have heard the photos fade over time and then there's the $$. I think I will save those for pics on the go while traveling. In the meantime, I have a regular printer that prints fantastic photos. I just needed this one last piece to make those little photos with it! THANK YOU!!

I see on Walgreens that you can print a 4x6 collage so i didn't think you would need the app but when I tried it on my phone where all my photos are, it only wanted to print 8x10 collages. So confused! I guess I will just get that app and do what you do!

You know I've found that when I print them myself at home, with the white borders on the picstitch app, it crops some of the photo. Isn't that strange? I see it in yours too -- there's no "border" on the right side of your photo so then I'm having to trim the photos down to size so they're uniform. I'm wondering if they will do that at Walgreens too. Hmm.... do the pictures you get done at Walgreens have the border or are they cropped off too?

Emily, if I want to print a collage of multiple pictures on one sheet of sticker paper from my pocket printer, how do I do that? I don’t see 2X3 when I click aspect. I think you have done that also, or am I imagining things?😁

Nope you aren’t imagining it! I choose the closest one 3x4 or 4x3 when I export to my sprocket. It’s not perfect but it works!

My old HP printer came with software that let me divide images onto a page, and one of them was 2x2 inch photos. When there was a funeral I used that to print out hundreds of photos of the deceased to go along with the little printed booklet from the funeral home. Kind of morbid but they all got snapped up and none left. There was no photo otherwise and people like to have an image to remember someone.

I don't use tablets or my phone except for safety on the road. (Still have a landline...lol) I found Pic Stitch for Windows PC but first had to install an emulator as this app is only available on app stores. I do a test run and cannot edit the photos in the small collage frame. There are blue dots around the photo so it looks like I should be able to, but can't find any way to do so. When I click on "aspect" it takes me to another screen where I can crop the full size photo but even that is wonky. I can only pull one of 4 squares on the photo so trying to crop, which doesn't work well, is tedious. If anyone has used Pic Stitch on a PC with good results I'd really appreciate knowing or maybe the PC version is just clunky. I may just resize photos using Gimp, then create a 2nd screen to arrange the in a collage.
