Thank you so much for making this video! I have, cause your little box, bought my own little A6 box (from a Danish shop though) and it’s now so much easier to store and find the inserts. Dividers and lined paper came with my box, but I’ll make my own dividers out of some grey’ish thin cardboard that came with an Ikea cabinet that I bought for my office/planner stuff.

Very clever! Instead of odd pages first then printing even pages, that is easier! Good job!

My question is how can I have my prints exactly back to back… for some reason after I print the back page it’s off by maybe a few millimeters.. sounds minor but when I cut it some of the print cuts off because I need them a certain size

I've never been able to print back to back without even the tiniest variance left to right. I think it comes down to your printer really. First be sure to size your feed tray pretty snug. But if you're having problems fitting the insert in the size you need, you might just want to scale down the printing by a few percentage points to get it all to fit in the margins? Try 95% or so?

@@GanchiPlans I’m a beginner can you please tell me what you have your margins on ..and maybe the rest of your printer settings.. I have the PM agenda on as well… and have these set at 3x5

@@Tinkerbell1978 You're trying to print 3.25x4.75 inserts to fit 3x5? You'd want to print at 92% to fit the horizontal. You'd end up with some extra space on the vertical.
@Tinkerbell19783 жыл бұрын
@@GanchiPlans both are 3x5 no extra space.. .. I’m printing 3 x 5 inserts… I have four to a page on Standard size paper..

I see. If the inserts don't give enough room to cut properly, then try shrinking then just a little bit. I suggested starting at 95% before. Play around with it until you like how it looks. You could also check if the person who made the inserts has any special instructions for printing?

What program are you using to create your inserts?
@GanchiPlans2 жыл бұрын
Let's see, in this video, I was using inserts from PeanutsPlannerCo. Since this video was published I did start selling my own inserts, and those I make in a software called Scribus.

So you print on normal paper?
@GanchiPlans4 жыл бұрын
Pretty much, yes. I got the heaviest duty paper I could find at Walmart this time, but I'm not a big fan honestly. I preferred the HP paper I had before
@haruhiro4 жыл бұрын
@@GanchiPlans what's HP paper? 😅
@GanchiPlans4 жыл бұрын
@@haruhiro it's a brand, but now that I'm thinking about it, I think the paper I liked was actually Hammermill

I mean, it works but it's so much waste of paper and ink.
