It's a good plug in, and they did add the stereo/mid/side aspect, but Arturia modeled the Trident A range for that EQ and its preamp is part of the reason it sounds so good. I like the UAD one, too, if you haven't tried it. I think they only sold like 15 of those A range consoles, but quite a few companies have an emulation of the eq, which is a bit more common than the whole console. I missed how you got the midi drum pattern in the first place. Was there a program that analyzed the SZA beat and produced that? Or was that your approximation of the beat?

Just the fact that I don’t like going very hard on my plugins whether it’s compression, eq, distortion etc. I prefer using multiple plugins lightly than just smashing it with one 😁
