You want to learn a true afro house, Black Coffee and Da Capo mixsets should be your guide. I'm mentioning those two coz they are popular internationally. Otherwise we have a bucket load of afro house producers/djs down south. This is more closer to afro beats than afro house - a genre of West Africa.

I prefer the waproduction vocal plugin, the cla is great but waproduction does it better. Anyeway I prfer the waves the silk plugin. As for the tuning, prefer Natural Sound of the singer, not tuned.

the best vocalpresets I ever heard are those from nuro audio xvox pro - so many tasteful combinations of all musicak directions are a big timesaver and you´ll gettin back the fun of vocal mixing -

Fades on clips is on by default because its so useful. Without it, every time you cut a clip, you have to manually add a fade so the audio doesnt click. Pretty much standard on most DAWS

Instead of Waves Tune you can use Spoton which sounds great and it's free.

Waves have an ugly business model. I just got a mail that my plugin has expired and that I need to pay an upgrade fee.

Buy this plugin and use this vocal preset on absolutely everybody! Except now you and your clients sound exactly like everyone else that's been using CLA Vocals over and over for years and you don't have an original bone in your body. This is why everyone sounds the same today. Skill-less copycats with zero real creativity, all using the same presets, the same drum samples, the same guitar IR's. It's pretty fucken sad. Downtune the snare to thud and use a V30 cabinet! And sound like almost every rock and metal band in existence today... Yes it works, but have the balls to create something more original and your own sound.
