Cannibalism in the catfish enclosures is indeed a problem but also a natural way of control their population but still it minimize the production. Hi Dexter, you may put some coconut leaves into the catfish fries pond. This could prevent them from eating each other..so that it can hide under or between the leaves. You may put 4-5 coconut leaves/branch into the pond.

To avoid eating scooter fish you need add net with smaller holes so sooter fries can stay on one side and smaller one can stay on other side you also add money plants in that tank so there is enough hiding place for non sooter fries. use ner which has smaller holes before putting. Fries in tank this will reduce killing of smaller fries by sooter fries 👍

my suggestion is just make a mesh containers to seperate sizes according to ages, this will simply seperate small ones, smaller ones due to difficency in growth will be seperate easily by using these catfish babies, i thought this is the simple technic

Yah, you are correct sir dexter by using fine nets to bigger holes.. Or you can also use the basket or trays with different size of holes.. And for you to get easy from counting, why not try by weighing the fry's.. By using the digital weighting machine. You can try count some 50/100 heads,by its sizes, then weigh in,then double n triple and so on,...

solution. ie a dead fish head or any fish part on a rope and put it in the pond. this way, they can feed on the dead fish instead of them eating each other. your problems is solved. best of luck.

Inlightened by this video, no Dexter. This video was full of lies. You cat fish died of dirty water and starvation. Check and see who has foot fungus, he's the culprit. Stop cleaning your dirty hand in the the water too. Catfish can eat grasses and plants if you don't want to buy pellets. Pretty much all your animals are kept in filthy pens and are starving. Half of all your animals have died and you still call it a success. Breeding fish is the easiest thing, keeping them alive is the hard part. This is the experience that you lack. This is why you will sell fingerling and not adult fish.
