@@BeatAcademy Hey ill factor, why is it bad to put the EQs on the master fader? to me it seems better because you can more easily change the track if needed.
@IamALeaf
@IamALeaf 4 жыл бұрын
@@polaroid8349 It's bad for bigger projects since it could change the whole track.

It's great that by playing the filtered and unfiltered version together in the end, gives the track a lush and vintage feel which adds to the song vibe.

@2 Broke Gamblers I don't know if this technique is used in the original version, or if this is a common production technique. I imagine that, since ill used it in his recreation, probably is also used in the original.

Brother, which software do you use to make music.
@79Glitch
@79Glitch 4 жыл бұрын
uNknown rMx I’m not one of these DAW proselytizers, so that wasn’t the point. But I can usually hear the sound quality of different software, and I’ve seen this guy use Logic before, so I was just pointing it out. It doesn’t really matter, and the finished product sounded good. But it is true that Doja uses Logic, and I thought I read at one point that the producer of the track-the #1 pop hit guy, Dr. Luke-used Cubase/Logic.

I love how bands try to play tight to a metronome and producers try to sound loose and unquantized. We're such contrarians :')

@bookmarkthis He means live musicians following partitions in general. They aim for the optimal tempo, the imperfections are what gives it a live feeling which is why we producers try to simulate that.
@theoreticallyharmony6752

There’s a sweet spot that they’re both looking for. Most bands try to get as tight as they can to get to it, and producers try to loosen it a bit.
