DISCLAIMER: This got nerfed as of 7/12 but should still be pretty strong. These were the changes made: - Cleric's Faithfulness now has a 3 second cooldown after activation. - Cleric’s Smite attribute bonus ratio changed from 100% → 75%.

@@osorubeki I'm mainly playing duos atm with a friend that mains fighter, is there anything in specific class/build you would recommend to pair with him?
@osorubekiАй бұрын
@@rusty2969 for team play, bard is an amazing pairing with a fighter. even another fighter or a ranger would be good too. having the ability to help your teammate in every range (meaning, long and mid range with a bow/crossbow and short range with your melee) is very valuable. though tbh, playing what you find most fun is always the right answer imo

@@osorubeki awesome, so far I've only tried cleric, ranger and barbarian. For the starting out period, should we just be using our best squire loadouts and go into gob cave loot everything and extract asap to build up some gold for a build? Or is there a better known strategy when starting from scratch?
@osorubekiАй бұрын
@@rusty2969 Yeah, that's a totally valid way to build up your gold. I will say goblin caves is where most people go to PVP, which is fine, but Crypts can sometimes be quieter for looting and you can even start venturing into the Inferno for better loot. Currently, the best money maker in the game is double bossing on goblin caves (or doing frost wyvern, but that's a lot harder). For that, you clear the cave troll and the cyclops, and then mine the gold that's in the center room between the two bosses. That's obviously more of an advanced strategy, but something that's very worth looking into as you can also get great gear from the bosses, and troll's blood/pelt. I make my money for builds by double bossing on my Warlock or Cleric and there's a lot of great guides out there already for both!

Awesome video and thanks for the super comprehensive guide and build!!! I am left with one question though, when do you decide to use the mace vs. the staff? is it Mace against pdr builds, or am I missing something?
@osorubekiАй бұрын
hey thanks for the kind feedback! yeah i should’ve talked about this more but basically i like to use the staff against squishy builds like rogues and whatnot or when i’m chasing someone down, but otherwise your mace or morningstar is always gonna be better damage if it has good rolls on it! hope that helps :) Edit: also always use a magical staff or spell book when you cast your judgement for some extra damage

Hey man, really solid video. I know that this was nerfed a little, but would this still work if I downgraded a few items to get into the 25-124 lobbies or would you lose to many stats for it to be relevant?

How can i use this build more tanky? I mean can i change clothes to templar and etc? Btw really thank you for the video
@osorubekiАй бұрын
You’re welcome, thanks for watching :) Yeah exactly. Switch out the dex stuff for items with more armor rating. Templar armor, or ruby silver cuirass, hounskull, plate boots, heavy gauntlets and plate pants are typically what I see with tank clerics. You pretty much have to full commit with HP, AR, and PDR too.

why riveteed gloves the strength doesnt really help, you need magical damage?

i just had those on hand and was still playing with the build at that time, though i would run reinforced gloves for the extra health 9 times out of 10

huh, when i read the tooltip I just assumed faithfulness didn't work with smite since there was a clear distinguish between divine and magical damage from the tooltips. Never trust tooltips lol.
@osorubekiАй бұрын
yeah can't trust them lol. i always check the wiki before taking the tooltips at face value

Hey beki its me Sid here and recently ive been trying to get into the game and a little confused on what causes something like the green Crusader helm w/ STR roll to be 500g minimum but all the blues are 50 and up like normal? If you could help me out that would be much appreciated. Sid out!
@osorubekiАй бұрын
hey there, last I checked the greens are sitting around 130 but blues are definitely less expensive. it's odd but i'd say it's probably because green gear doesn't count as much towards gear score and since there's bracketed matchmaking, taking green gear will help keep you under 124 gear score! not sure what else it would be tho

fair enough, i think the term “budget” is different for everyone and this is loosely what it means to me. but i did share what the important stats for the build are so you can still prioritize the right things but at a lower cost/whatever is budget for you!

why do you need staff if you don't have any spells?
@osorubekiАй бұрын
the magic staff has magical damage on it which gets scaled well with will, so stacking that onto faithfulness and smite as well gives you more damage. it's not much, and by no means necessary so if you just want to rock the mace/morning star, you'll be fine. i like using it against squishier people like rogues or when i'm chasing
