So far this is the first video I have found with the same remote that does the same constant flashing. However when I hold 1 on the clone remote it doesnt learn the sources code, it stays unpowered. Just like your ones if I click a button on the clone it flashes once and my source stays on

Hi Smashman. It is not possible to enter a code in a universal remote control. This comes with empty memory and can only copy a source remote control.

How to reset the non-universal one. I was able to program it but I want to reset it to a factory setting. I mean when I bought it was not programmed (clear) ie. factory setting.

Hello. The non-universal remote control cannot be programmed. What is programmed is the receiving control unit which memorizes the radio control codes. What you can do is reset the receiver to cancel the programming and in this way the remote control will no longer control the receiver.

If you can't clone your original promote control, simply your device is not 433 mhz and so not compatible. Try to buy 380 Mhz remote.

The fact the remote arrived with NO instructions irked me. The fact I had to search for 20 minutes to find this video angered me. The fact I erased and re-programmed the remote 6 times has infuriated me! It still won't work!!!
