Im having issues, once i turn the yellow button on i hold the controller button i want to program but i hear no clicks nor does the light flash on

Ridiculous that it's designed to just pry open the case to change battery. Seems designed to break it accidentally

Pyroshen, we understand your concern with this aspect of the remote. We can tell you from experience though, we took apart and put back together the remote dozens of times for the video and had no issues with anything breaking, cracking or chipping. The battery only needs changed approximately once a year, so the unit doesn't need to be opened that often.
