Tony is your book on the “Volca Sample” available anywhere in paperback?

The reason I haven’t made a print edition of the Volca Sample Expert Guide yet is that I think it would need extra content to deliver what people expect from a print book, and I’ve had other projects on the go recently. I’m about to start another new book, but after that I might revisit the Sample guide in print. I hope so. Thanks for your interest. Tony

I couldn't resist on purchasing copies of your Volca drum and volca bass ebooks... they are really well made and it helps me a lot to use my volcas. I've took screenshots and printed them on paper for a more convenient use, and that turns out te be extremely convenient, bringing my sheets and notes in the metro while doing some jams

The rim shot makes a BIGdifference on that Techo/edm section. I'm going to try that, and change the pitch on just the rimshot frequently, to get a different effect.

The Volca drum is ornament al gadget for mua cause my fingerS barely fit around delicate knobs and the motion is risky but definitely a rare machine

Can we do Jungle/DnB with this machine or is it only possible with sampling?

You could create jungle and drum & bass style rhythms with the Volca Drum, but those styles are typified by sampled sounds of live drums, so the Volca Drum would not sound “authentic”‘in terms of recreating that sound. Even so, you could still make some great tracks using those tempos and rhythm styles. The Volca Sample is better suited to jungle and drum & bass as we expect to hear it.
