KORG Volca Drum Full Tutorial
In this video I give a tutorial on the Volca Drum from KORG. The Volca Drum is a 6 part drum machine with a digital synthesis engine that lets you create you own drum sounds from scratch.
This is a full tutorial showing how to edit the sound, create patterns, use synth controls, midi settings and edit a sounds using all of the onboard controls.

@15:42 you actually can switch to another part while staying in EDIT/STEP by pressing FUNC + PART KEY. it will change to the part. That combo FUNC + PART KEY is also useful during live looping since it will switch to the part without playing the sound

I’m a brand new Volca Drum owner and I found this tutorial to be one of the very best. However, after putting together a sequence and utilizing all of editing tools, I cannot get the program to save, even when following the steps at about 18:20 of the video. When I load the program to play back, it reverts back to how it sounded before my edits. What step am I missing? I want to be able to save and come back to it sometime later for more editing.

You have to save both the kit and the prg (pattern) for it to sound the same
