Hi, this only works if you pair it within the first three minutes of turning the car on! It wouldn’t work for me at first & I was very confused. Make sure you quickly select okay on the steering wheel too because it’ll go away and you’ll have to start over.

About to watch your next video, so it probably answers all this, but I just bought a 2011 GOLF GTI, and I was able to connect it but the "bluetooth" tab only becomes available AFTER I have started playing music on my phone from a music app. Meaning no youtube or any internet videos will play, just my music app and pandora basically, and I have to start playing the music first before switching over to bluetooth.

That's the media mute button. If you recieve a phone call you can click that to immediately turn off the sound.
